Company Story

Mosaic Coffee Roasters is a small batch, gourmet coffee bean roasting company located in Southern Maryland. At Mosaic we roasts some of the world's finest arabica coffee beans.

The idea for the company began during the founder's military service in the U.S. Navy. He developed an interest in coffee while serving as a Supply Corps Officer both on board ships, while stationed in the United States and Overseas. As a Supply Corps Officer, he served as a food services and logistics manager. 

Over the years the founder's curiosity in the coffee industry eventually resulted in the purchase of three non-commercial coffee roasters and hundreds of pounds of green coffee beans. He roasted coffee beans for himself, family members, neighbors, friends and co-workers. After attending numerous coffee trade shows in Seattle, WA and Houston, TX, he decided the time was right to turn this hobby into a business. 

Mosaic Coffee Roasters sources its coffee beans from countries located along the Coffee Belt between the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn. Our coffee beans are amongst the best in the World! In addition to roasted coffee beans, we offer raw green beans for the home coffee roaster as well.
